Here is a quick little napkin ring rehab I did. I took 4 metal napkin rings I found at a thrift store.
I rolled them on the backside of a piece of strong tissue paper and marked the cut lines with a pencil, leaving about a 1/4″ overlap. I cut out the strips.
Next, I coated the outside of the rings with a good layer of Mod Podge.
I applied the strips, being careful to line them up with the edges of the napkin rings.
Finally, I trimmed the edges up neat and applied another coat of Mod Podge and a final coat of another decoupage medium that I use when I need things to be sealed and not tacky. They looked super cute, and so of course I forgot to snap picture before I put them in the booth for a quick last-minute gift idea. I will try to remember to take a picture when I go next.
