A Few Quick Furniture Before & Afters

Here are a few of the little incidental furniture pieces I’ve been working on rejuvenating!  First up is an 80’s lacquered piece that once was lovely, but alas, with peeling and chipping EVERYWHERE it was damaged beyond repair.

Now it has new life after lots and lots of paint (whatever wood was under that lacquer does NOT cover well–had to go aqua before I could go white!)  Added some cute vintage chic style girly paper decoupage and plenty of distressing.  Now its a cute little side table for a boudoir or powder room!

Picked up a trio of nesting tables, normally SO expensive, but the largest one had severe water damage and a bent-out leg (i.e. “needed some work”), so they were a really good deal.  These three will be for sale in my booth, but more importantly, they will give me some of that much needed off-the-floor space I mentioned here.

Then there is this little guy, complete with veneer covered pressed wood top.  Honestly, there was nothing at this sale I stopped by on a whim.  Turns out it was more of a Spirit-nudge and there was everything at this sale that was really needed.

And here it sports a new coat of white paint and decoupaged dictionary pages.  Honestly I think it’s my fav!  🙂

It fits just perfectly under my stacked trio of nesting tables, and is going to look SO cute in my booth!  (Until it goes to be SO cute in someone’s home anyway!)
